Morgan Stanley, in a research report, expressed its bullishness on Trip.com (TCOM.US) 's 3Q guidance, particularly for long-haul, inbound and outbound travel, envisioning the group to embrace summer getaway, buoyed by a visa-free policies, the resumption of most flights and a rising share price during the first normalized summer season after China's reopening.
Citing data from Trip.com, inbound bookings as of 2 July spiked 100% YoY, on the back of a 150% YoY surge in bookings from 14 visa-free countries or regions.
