Taobao To Free Shipping to HK from Aug, Covering 16 Types of Goods

　　Taobao launched the “Global Free Shipping for Clothing” program, which offers free shipping for clothing items to overseas consumers. On 1 August, the program will first cover Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

　　Taobao expected to expand the program to Australia by the end of this year and gradually implement global free shipping. According to Taobao, orders from Hong Kong with a total amount of RMB99 or more each will be free of shipping charges, effective 1 August.

　　Taobao Hong Kong free shipping is mainly for 16 types of clothing, including women's or ladies' clothing, men's clothing, women's shoes, men's shoes, women's or men's underwear/ home wear, bags and leather goods or popular women's handbags or men's bags, clothing accessories/ belts/ hats/ scarves/ watches, bicycle or cycling equipment/ accessories, sports shoes, sportswear or casual wear, sports bags/ outdoor bags or accessories, sports/ yoga/ fitness or fan goods, outdoor/ mountain climbing/ camping or travel goods, children's wear, children's shoes, accessories/ fashion jewelry or fashion accessories.
