Hon Hai Reveals New Foxconn HQ to Be Set up in Zhengzhou with RMB1B

　　Hon Hai Technology Group announced that after its Foxconn Technology Group and the Henan Provincial Government signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the Henan Provincial Government and Foxconn Technology Group on Accelerating New Business Project, Foxconn will set up a new business headquarters in Zhengzhou. The first phase of the project will be located in the Zhengdong New District, with a construction area of about 700 mu and a total investment of about RMB1 billion.

　　According to the agreement, the project aims to build 7 major centres, including the headquarters management centre, research and development centre and engineering centre, strategic industrial development centre, strategic industrial financial platform, industrial research institute and key talent centre, marketing centre, and supply chain management centre, which will provide industrial resources and technological support for the implementation of Foxconn's 3+3 strategy in China. Meanwhile, around the implementation of the 3+3 strategy, Foxconn will focus on the layout of the electric vehicle pilot production centre and solid-state battery projects at the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone.
