Tencent Cloud Unveils Domestically Developed Server Operating System 'TencentOS Server V3'

　　Hu Liming, Vice President of Tencent Cloud, a subsidiary of TENCENT (00700.HK) +1.800 (+0.495%) Short selling $1.97B; Ratio 23.291% (TCEHY.US) , unveiled the new TencentOS Server V3, a domestically developed server operating system, at the China International Financial Exhibition 2024.

　　Hu pointed out that TencentOS Server V3 featured security and trustworthiness, stability and efficiency, and made numerous upgrades for cloud and AI scenarios. These updates greatly improved the performance of software such as databases, as well as the utilisation of resources such as CPUs and GPUs.

　　It is learnt that TencentOS Server is Tencent's self-developed enterprise-class Linux server operating system. In practice, TencentOS Server V3 is fully compatible with mainstream Mainland-made chip servers, and supports the construction of large-scale server clusters using the 3 major types of CPUs, namely Kunpeng, Hygon and FeiTeng.

　　With a deployment scale of nearly 10 million units, TencentOS Server has become the most deployed Linux operating system in China.
