Company to set up bio-computing innohub in HK: FS

　　Paul Chan says the first Bio-Computing Innovation Summit will be held in Hong Kong on Monday.

　　Financial Secretary Paul Chan on Sunday said an enterprise from the United States has chosen Hong Kong to set up its first bio-computing innohub.

　　Writing on his blog, Chan also said the first Bio-Computing Innovation Summit will be held in Hong Kong on Monday, and discussions will be held among global leaders in areas such as artificial intelligence and life sciences.

　　He said the Hong Kong Investment Corporation will sign a strategic collaboration agreement at the summit with the US biotechnology research company, BioMap, which is set up business in Hong Kong this year.

　　Chan said the company will be able to support bio-computing-related research in areas like medical and health, green technology and industrial innovation.

　　He added that BioMap will provide high-quality employment and internship opportunities.
