On-site visit
In this issue, the survey team went to Hong Kong in China to visit the forex broker Bluestone as planned according to its registered regulatory address that Unit 1701-2, 17/F, Star House, 3 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
The investigators came to 3 Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui for a visit to the brokers office on December 7, 2023, and located Star House, a well-established commercial building with stores and a shopping mall on the ground floor, in the prime tourism and commercial district in Kowloon. With a coveted location adjacent to bus and ferry terminal and connected to the well-renowned Harbour City, the commercial building is easily accessible via public transports within 10-minute walking distance from Tsim Sha Tsui Station or East Tsim Sha Tsui Station of MTR. Additionally, there are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and department stores nearby in an immaculate surrounding environment, appealing to a steady stream of people.
Upon access to the building for further investigation, the survey personnel spotted a directory in the lobby, which displayed that “Bluestone Securities (HK) Co., Limited” is situated in unit 1701-2 on the 17th floor.
Then the inquiry team proceeded to the 17th floor via the elevator, and discovered from the floor directory that unit 1701-2 is occupied by “Bluestone Securities (HK) Co., Limited”.
In addition to its reception area, the company name and logo of Bluestone could also be seen conspicuously at unit 1701-2. Unfortunately, taking photos was unavailable in the office due to the access control system at the entrance. Thus, the exact office size of the company was undetermined.
Through the on-side investigation, it is confirmed that the broker has a physical presence at the location.
Conclusion
The survey team went to Hong Kong to visit broker Bluestone as scheduled, and found the companys name at its regulatory address. This signifies that the broker has a physical business office at the place. Meanwhile, investors are advised to make a sensible decision following a comprehensive consideration.
