Morgan Stanley wrote in a reprot that the axes of AI and longevity intersected in the healthcare industry. AI applications are lagging behind in the industry due to the sector's relatively independent data and stringent prescription safety requirements, but there are significant development opportunities in both the short and long term. Online healthcare platforms will benefit from AI applications, including workflow optimisation, medical decision support, productivity enhancement, innovative analytics, and commercialisation of smart applications.

The broker believed that the telemedicine stocks it covered may not benefit much at this early stage of AI, but it has adjusted its ratings on these stocks to reflect their fundamentals. It double-upgraded ALI HEALTH (00241.HK) +0.250 (+7.937%) Short selling $34.88M; Ratio 22.659% from Underweight to Overweight, as the company's growth momentum is encouraging following the injection of advertising business into it.

In addition, Morgan upgraded PA GOODDOCTOR (01833.HK) +0.920 (+8.846%) Short selling $15.55M; Ratio 16.231% from Underweight to Equal-weight, believing that the company's development strategy towards the F-side (Integrated Financial Services) and the B-side (Corporate Customers) is progressing steadily, and with the improvement in operating efficiencies, the company may break even earlier. JD HEALTH (06618.HK) +0.850 (+4.067%) Short selling $39.06M; Ratio 49.048% is meanwhile downgraded from Equal-weight to Underweight, reflecting the slower growth of its core business.
