On-site visit
In this issue, the survey team went to Australia to visit broker Syfe as planned according to its regulatory address that Level 19/180 Lonsdale Street Melbourne VIC 300.
The investigators arrived at 180 Lonsdale Street in Melbourne, Australia for a visit to the brokers office on January 20, 2024, and located a commercial building at the busy business street in the downtown area. Lonsdale Street is lined with numerous office buildings, retail stores, and restaurants, appealing to a steady stream of people.
Upon arrival at the 19th floor via the lift for further investigation, the survey personnel didnt discover any information regarding Syfe, such as company name and logo.
Through the on-site investigation, it‘s confirmed that the broker doesn’t have a physical presence at the location.
Conclusion
The survey team went to Australia to visit broker Syfe as scheduled, but didn‘t find the company’s name at its regulatory address. This denotes that the broker might just register with the address without a physical business office. Accordingly, investors are advised to make an informed decision following an overall consideration.
