SHANGRI-LA ASIA (00069.HK) Raises RMB1B With Issuance of 2 Tranches of Panda Bond

　　BANK OF CHINA (03988.HK) +0.030 (+0.885%) Short selling $172.12M; Ratio 41.876% , CMSC (06099.HK) +0.060 (+0.988%) Short selling $375.14K; Ratio 4.714% , and CM BANK (03968.HK) -0.350 (-1.034%) Short selling $99.28M; Ratio 29.719% announced that SHANGRI-LA ASIA (00069.HK) -0.090 (-1.607%) recently successfully issued 2 tranches of Panda Bond, namely a RMB600 million 3-year medium-term note (MTN) and a RMB400 million 5-year MTN. The coupon of the 3-year note is 2.27%, subscribed 3.25x, while the coupon for the 5-year note is 2.5%, subscribed 1.98x.

　　Shangri-La had earlier set up a RMB20 billion MTN Programme, and issued a RMB1 billion three-year bond early last month. This was the second issuance of that programme. Proceeds raised from the issuance will be used for general corporate purposes.
