　　Net profit after deducting non-recurring gains and losses attributable to the equity holders of the Company as recorded in the consolidated financial statements of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2024 is expected to be approximately RMB2.7 billion to RMB3.3 billion, representing an increase of approximately 112% to 160%, as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

　　The main reasons for the estimated increase in the results for the period were, firstly, the year-on-year decrease in fuel prices, which resulted in a year-on-year reduction in the thermal fuel cost of the Company; secondly, the continuous improvement of the water inflow for the Companys hydropower stations for the period, the achievements in the green and low-carbon transformation of the Company, and continuous increase in new energy installed capacity, which resulted in a year-on-year increase in clean energy power generation.
